I love this coffee grinder! It allows you to choose how many cups of coffee you want to make, how fine you want the grind to be, then grinds exactly the proper amount into the holder. Then you just pour into your coffee filter and brew away.The grinder at the grocery store was malfunctioning and ground the beans very course, so I just poured the course-ground coffee into the grinder, set it for the grind I wanted, and now I have perfectly ground coffee every day.

The grinder does a great job, it has an even accurate grind and it automatically metes out the appropriate amount of grounds. The two issues which, in my opinion, don't overshadow it's positive points; the bin for the beans could have been larger but this is a minor thing, the larger issue is the tight fitting wonky receptical for the ground coffee; it's messy and clunky. It (the receptical) has a very tight fitting lid that is square. This makes it unwieldy to open and close. The container makes a bit of a mess when you take it off the grinder and it is also messy as you pour the coffee grinds into the filter. I think that Melitta could make a few changes on their next iteration.
